17th International Elephant Conservation and Research Symposium

November 15-19, 2021

It is with great disappointment that due to the continuing ongoing pandemic we will not be able to meet in-person this year BUT we are planning a multi-day virtual symposium with presentations and opportunities for information sharing and discussion including focused sessions on Human Elephant Conflict and Education/Community Engagement.

The International Elephant Foundation is excited to open registration for our Virtual 17th International Elephant Conservation and Research Symposium, held November 15th-19th, 2021. Registration for the symposium is $25 which will be used to sustain our global conservation work protecting elephants and other wildlife.

Exclusive for this year, upon request, we are offering registrants an official certificate of completion to demonstrate professional development for participating and attending this exciting meeting. Certificate fee is $10.

Sessions will take place daily:
5:00am – 9:00am Pacific Standard Time (Los Angeles, California)
Time Conversion Clock: The Personal World Clock (timeanddate.com)

This agenda for the 17th International Conservation & Research Symposium is subject to change. We will update regularly as events are finalized

All registrants will be provided with a personal Zoom link to attend the sessions. Registrants will also receive a program with abstracts included. Links will not be sent out until November 13th.

We encourage all participants to consider a donation to our global conservation efforts, in addition to the registration fee. All funds will support our many projects that actively work to build a future where elephants thrive.
