Development of EEHV-specific Nanobodies as Treatment for EEHV-hemorrhagic Disease

Elephant Endotheliotropic Herpesviruses (EEHV) are a group of elephant-specific viruses that may cause acute, highly lethal haemorrhagic disease in young elephants. Building upon previous work that developed a set of EEHV-specific nanobodies, this project seeks to identify EEHV-neutralizing nanobodies to be used as future prophylaxis or treatment.
