Visit 3 of Our Kenyan Projects
Ernest Hemingway famously said, “All I wanted to do was get back to Kenya.” Now is your opportunity to have a truly unique visit to Kenya, much like Hemingway’s adventures. This is not your normal group safari. Discover the work of the International Elephant Foundation in Kenya’s renowned destinations, including Tsavo West, Mount Kenya, and Samburu Game Reserve. In addition to game drives, you’ll have the opportunity to meet IEF’s partners and local rangers to learn about their involvement in ongoing conservation projects in Kenya.
For the first time ever, we are giving everyone the opportunity to travel across the globe and see in-person the life-changing conservation work IEF supports.
IEF has partnered with trusted tour agency Classic Escapes to build an exclusive adventure! Taking place from 2-13 November, 2025, you will visit:
- The Big Tusker Project in Tsavo, Kenya,
- The Mount Kenya Trust Horse Patrol Team,
- Northern Rangelands Trust

From the few science programs we watched, these high schoolers would be learning in a far better way than Joe, Debbie and I had been taught growing up in pre-tech times.
The schools in Zambia, Kenya and Uganda teach all students their classes in English, which meant we could communicate with almost everyone we met in our travels. Seeing the lesson plans available helped us understand how broad an education the youngsters were receiving. The principal was proud to tell us that some of their recently- graduated students were the first from the local villages to go on to college.
Throughout the three African countries we visited, school children were required to pay for school and their school uniforms…CONTINUE THE ADVENTURE HERE.
