IEF is proud to announce that we are officially accepting abstracts to present at the 21st International Elephant Conservation & Research Symposium! Returning to the United States for the first time in over a decade, the Symposium will take place December 5-8, 2025 at the Fort Worth Zoo.

IEF’s 21st symposium will bring together elephant conservationists and researchers from around the world to present on a diverse range of conservation projects and research outcomes. We are seeking abstracts covering topics related all species of elephants, EEHV, human elephant conflict deterrents, policy and land use planning, novel concepts for conservation, veterinary management, disease investigation, reproduction and behavior, conservation activities utilizing elephants in human care, and other issues that impact the long- term survival of elephants.
Abstracts are due on July 1, 2025. Get the details HERE.
We look forward to working together to creating another excellent forum for which those working on behalf of elephants can share, learn, and be inspired!
